ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT / 2017 – Present
18-hole Top-100 club designed by Harry Colt and Donald Ross.
– Excellent oversight and organization of all day-to-day activities that deliver optimum course conditions
that routinely exceed member expectations
– Initiate employee training and work closely with staff to ensure maximum efficiency
– Effectively communicate with club officials and staff, including participation with Green Committee
– Gained extensive knowledge in organizing and implementing annual grounds budget, including
management of entire pesticide and fertilizer program
– Participated in the completion of a long range improvement plan; program included a bunker restoration
and a fairway expansion grow-in project; added 24 acres of T1 and Alpha bentgrass to existing fairways
along with 13 acres of strategically placed fine fescue areas
– Developed talent for ancillary area management and landscape maintenance; experience with Har-Tru
tennis courts, pool facilities, platform tennis and snow removal
– Perfected existing irrigation control system and strategically placed new irrigation
– Installed subsurface drainage systems to remove excess water from affected regions of turf

INTERIM SUPERINTENDENT - ASSISTANT / 2016-2017
18-hole nationally recognized club designed by Donald Ross.
– Appointed the Interim Golf Course Superintendent during transition of incoming Superintendent in 2017
– Changed the culture of a deflated staff and created an environment that all could be proud of each day
– Worked closely with architect Andrew Green and the membership through extensive meetings to develop
a master plan for the golf course
– Oversaw the implementation of the long range improvement project, including; complete bunker
renovation, rerouting of several holes to fit the original Donald Ross design, and the construction and
grow in five new holes, which included USGA specification greens
– Coordinated extensive tree removal and drainage to improve playability of course

– Responsible for the ordering, storage, and inventory of chemicals and PPE.
– Monitored XDG greens drainage projects on six greens.
– Renovated the Junior Course by regrassing and selecting critical irrigation placement for grow in
procedure and continual maintenance
– Installed Better Billy Bunker drainage system to address frequently damaged areas

Tournaments
The grounds staff at any facility should be committed to providing a first class golf course that meets the goals and objectives of members. It is imperative that the Head Golf Professional, his staff and the Superintendent be in agreement for an all-around positive golf experience. It is understood that every golf outing/tournament will have different course set-ups and needs. I have acquired years of knowledge in preparing turfgrass and organization of Amateur and Professional golf events. A few select events include:
